Egg Donation Process

Once you have chosen your egg donor from our extensive database and completed the necessary paperwork, the egg donation cycle will begin. This process typically takes about 4-6 weeks to complete and involves several stages. Let's take a closer look at how an egg donation cycle works:

Step 1: Screening

The first step in the egg donation process is the screening phase. The potential egg donor will undergo a thorough medical and psychological evaluation to determine their suitability. This includes blood tests, ultrasounds, and genetic screening conducted at your chosen IVF clinic.

Step 2: Agency Fee

Once your donor has received full medical clearance from the clinic, our agency fee will be collected. For detailed information about our agency fee, please contact us.

Step 3: Legal Contract

After your egg donor has been medically cleared, a legal contract will be drawn up to protect all parties involved. Asian Donor Match will connect you with a reliable legal professional who will assist in drafting the contract between you and your egg donor.

Step 4: Hormone Stimulation

Once the egg donation agreement has been signed by all parties, the donor will receive hormone injections to stimulate her ovaries to produce multiple eggs. These hormone injections will be administered over a period of 10-12 days, during which the donor will undergo regular ultrasounds to monitor the growth of her follicles. When the follicles have reached the desired size, the donor will be given a Lupron trigger shot to induce ovulation.

Step 5: Egg Retrieval

Approximately 36 hours after the trigger shot, the donor will undergo an egg retrieval procedure. This is a minimally invasive procedure that is performed under sedation. A needle is inserted through the vaginal wall and into the ovaries, and the eggs are aspirated from the follicles.
